Energetic Device Comparison
First off, we respect all energetic devices, we are all working toward a common goal of energetic health. Lotus LIFE has 20+ years of energetic device experience in professional practice and we have researched many energetic systems.
We have also worked with lasers, red-light devices, neurofeedback, energetic infoceudicals and bioresonance. In this comparison we are reviewing some of the more popular devices available today that focus on software and frequencies for health. These are considerations for making a decision about which energetic device to invest in to help clients on their healing journeys.
Some energetic devices are harder to learn because of their layout or function type. For instance, some devices operate solely selecting number frequencies and codes for feedback and not all systems have scanning capabilities.
While the distance or remote function may not seem important, once the mode is utilized it often ends up being the most popular way the system is used. It provides convenience for the practitioner and clients can be anywhere in the world. Distance brings great flexibility for sending frequencies to distant family members, children and animals.
Ongoing support can be a big issue when the manufacturer or brokers do not stay in business with the device. It can be challenging to get support for devices that are used or purchased from another country. Subscription models and internet requirements also pose limitations for ongoing use or emergency applications.
Training is not always included for devices. Certification is often not provided. Depending upon the broker you select, there can be an additional training charge.
Rife devices do not scan; operators have to select which frequencies to run. They function with manuals that have code listings for specific health imbalances, which are pre-programmed sets of frequencies. You must have the numbers to run the frequency programs. Programs are run based off guesses and medical diagnoses. Emotional balancing frequencies are limited. Frequencies are felt by the client as a strong electrical current (similar to a tens device used for muscle relaxation). Depending on the system, Rife devices can utilize distance with DNA or a photograph. As I far as we know, no Rife devices are FDA registered. The cost is low, but with no ability to scan it can be challenging to direct the frequencies where the body needs it.
Qest4 requires the internet to function. Distance function requires a DNA sample. It can imprint water. We have spoken with practitioners that owned Qest4 systems and were not utilizing it because use of the device was complicated. The software does require an internet connection.
Zyto was originally developed for testing items such as vitamins and minerals to recommend supplements. Harmonic applications for energetic balancing were added later. It does have FDA clearance. Zyto requires both the internet and ongoing subscription payments. Distance applications require a handset be mailed to the client, who then must install an app and have an internet connection to use.
Spooky 2 utilizes a number format with specific settings for waveforms, which are more complicated. It can run remote sessions, but requires extra device modules and a DNA sample from the client.
AO Scan is primarily used for remote (distance) applications through voice recording. Emotional balancing is through emailing the client music with embedded frequencies. When we purchased this system, the light plastic headset for physical applications arrived broken. It functions with an app through a tablet or mobile phone that comes with the system. We did not find it to be substantial enough for in-person sessions. We were paying for the subscription even when we were not using it. So while initial cost is low, monthly subscriptions add up at approx. $150 a month. The AO Scan does provide a complex report, although some items require a deep medical understanding and as a result, there’s a lot of education needed for both the practitioner and the client in order to understand.
QXCI / SCIO / Indigo is the most similar device to The LIFE System. It has a harness and does operate in distance. However, it is challenging to learn as most of the pages operate differently, so training is required for each individual software profile. The water imprint function application is complex. We had a lot of issues with software stability, which is challenging when you are charging clients and working professionally. Systems are not often sold with support or training. Manufacturer headquarters are in Europe and the system has not been registered with the FDA since 2008.
LIFE System offers easy reading and application of the information from the testing process. It has distance capabilities that are built into the software and do not require additional DNA or photographs, although they can be used. We’ve had so many wonderful testimonials with The LIFE System. Our clients enjoy the experience and almost always feel the benefits soon after or during their session. The LIFE System’s FDA registration as a biofeedback device for stress reduction, supports a professional level of quality for our wellness center. Internet and subscription free operation makes it even more ideal.
LIFE System Frequency Selection
The LIFE System allows for inputting frequencies in hertz format, however it primarily functions by item name. For instance, selecting a frequency named relax muscles rather than other devices, which would require a number code to select that operation. This makes the LIFE System, extremely user-friendly and approachable for many different types of stresses.

Lotus LIFE continues to support clients who purchased The LIFE System from 2003 to present day. Our LIFE System Training is very approachable and easy to understand. That is why we include the live Q&A training with LIFE System purchases. Lotus LIFE includes six hours of videos, manual, guides and charts. Purchase includes live basic training online, which is customized to your areas of health focus. Completion of the basic course provides a certification as a Biofeedback Technician. The manufacturer provides additional training materials and videos. Lotus LIFE also provides an exclusive membership to their online portal with training guides, videos and marketing.

Some devices that we purchased no longer offer support as the manufacturer closed. Often, I find many of the devices on the market seem unsubstantial in a professional application. A device we purchased in 2021 came with a flimsy headset that broke upon arrival in shipping. Some devices are mobile apps, which can be hard to review with clients.
Systems that are on their own device seem limited in capabilities and in such cases, it is likely that it’s operating through numbers of set programs. To us that is a very analytical approach to holistic health. We appreciate the use of a computer application where the results show up on a screen and we can simply select the stress we want to run.
Devices that function on their own without a computer do not offer the ability for the client to view their stressors and learn about their health. Even if you don’t plan on sharing the screen with clients, it’s still a wonderful option for people who do want insight.
Many people feel that their health is a mystery and they are afraid of the unknown. When we show clients The LIFE System screen it brings them into their own unique health journey.
We found that the more involved they are, the greater responsibility they will take in their own lifestyle choices.
These days, many devices are based on a subscription model for ongoing payments to keep the software active. The LIFE System does not operate with subscriptions, it is not internet based and there’s no cloud connection. The LIFE database and client list resides only on the computer and simply requires electricity to access thousands of frequencies for health.
For us at Lotus LIFE there is no energetic device that quite compares with The LIFE System. And we have tried a lot of them! This comes from our family’s experience investing in multiple energetic devices both financially and time-wise at our wellness centers helping clients. While we can't speak directly regarding every energetic device that is out there, we have years of professional experience in the field of energetics.
Our founder, Allan Schulte, opened his first wellness center in 2000 and initially centered upon the Bicom, a German device that is no longer sold in the United States. It was powerful, but very time-consuming to work with. It used hundreds of frequency ampules, which required individual testing for each client’s session.
We came upon our first quantum biofeedback device in 2001 out of Europe called the QXCI / SCIO. There were many things we liked about this system; however, it was difficult to learn and in 2007 the company decided to let go of their FDA registration. By this time, we had become quite established working with multiple energetic devices for clients' sessions, sales of energetic systems and training.
Thankfully, in 2003 we had become part of the first wave of LIFE System brokers. The LIFE System is a quantum biofeedback device that we found much easier to use, and the results were excellent! Our clients often noticed shifts from the first session and found the graphics easy to understand.
We continued purchasing additional energetic systems through the years and still after 20+ years, we have not found a comparable system that has the safety and efficacy along with the FDA registration of The LIFE System.
With all energetic devices, it’s important to be above board and professional in every aspect, including training and support. The FDA registration of the LIFE system as a biofeedback device for stress reduction legitimizes it for professional use.
If you plan on using an energetic device professionally in the United States, you definitely want your primary system to be in legal alignment. It is really important that you are trained properly and learn the language of energetic health for lawful client communications.
We encourage caution with energetic devices that are not established companies with legitimate safety certifications. Energetics is still such a new frontier of health and many systems are limited in their capacities. Many devices do not scan for stresses and the device user may have to guess which frequencies to run. This is typical with Rife devices.
We’ve worked with many energetic devices that were still effective, including low-level lasers, frequency generators, neurofeedback, ambient frequencies and light therapies. Many didn’t fit our wellness center model of being able to work on multiple stresses within a session that customized to the exact client needs.
